Nature studies

As I’ve mentioned before, Frances goes to a private school. It’s not a school for children with ASD, but it gives her the small classroom size and the individual attention that she needs.

No school is perfect, but we really like it for her as it follows our province’s school curriculae yet also heavily emphasizes an appreciation of nature.

In addition to outdoor studies, the school participates several times a year in a bird conservation program that is very unique.

I love to write, make art, etc. about my children, 16 and 12. I'm just doing what I like to do, and, if I happen to be raising awareness of high functioning ASD (my 12-year-old daughter has HF ASD), that's great.
